BAKERSFIELD (CALIFORNIA):A 47-yearold man, Jagsir Singh, 47, was found dead inside a house, where the body of a new-born boy was found last week, media reports said on Friday.

Police are treating this as a possible suicide as Jagsir and his wife, Beant Kaur Dhillon, had been charged in the murder case of the newborn.

On February 26, the remains of a baby were dug by investigators in a backyard flower bed. It was found that Beant Kaur Dhillon had killed a newborn that her 15-year-old daughter gave birth to. Jagsir Singh was an accessory to murder.

While Dhillon remains in custody, Singh was bailed out. It was learnt that the newborn baby was killed to prevent family shame. Officials had confirmed the baby was drowned.
