Khangura Announces 24 Hr Constituency Office - 28/12/2011
Jassi Khangura, MLA for Qila Raipur, today announced that his office was now functioning 24 hours a day thanks to the launch of his call centre. He said “In order to cater to my supporters and contacts in Punjab and worldwide, I took this step to enable them to be in contact with me at their convenience.”
Khangura, always a leader in communicating with his constituents and supporters, has again taken the initiative with this step. He said “I have been training my team for some time, and we have spent a while testing this to ensure we are providing something useful. We are. The focus of this exercise is to allow people to communicate at their convenience, not ours. And the response is excellent!”
Khangura said “my core office operations have been providing extended coverage for some time, with my key staff on shifts to ensure maximum accessibility and coverage. This has now been extended to provide this 24 hour call centre.” He added “this facility enables better communication paths with many of my supporters. People here in my constituency are no longer restricted by 9-6 office hours and can call at their convenience. And overseas in the NRI community, especially in North America, it will be much more convenient.”
