Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today said that the foreign direct investment in retail will boost the agricultural economy in the state. He said organised multi-brand retail stores are in the interest of both the producers as well as the retailers as also the consumers. At the same time he added, it will not be any threat to the small retailers.
