Major preparations are underway for the CHAPAAR Mela Congress conference - 10/09/2008

Halka Qila Raipur MLA Jassi Khangura has been touring the area and attending preliminary meetings with local Congress leaders and workers in preparation for the upcoming Congress conference on 15 September at the CHAPAAR Mela.

Jassi has been discussing current topics with leaders, workers and common persons with a view to ensuring that common person issues are brought to the fore at the conference.

Jassi is keen to ensure a cohesive congress front can move forward in Ludhiana district into this election season.

The Chapaar Mela will be attended by Mrs Ranjeet Ranjan MP from Bihar who gave the Akalis a full dressing down in the recent Trust vote in Parliament.

Jassi states that national and state Congress leaders will fully expose the misdeeds, falsehoods, outright deception, criminality and all pervasive corruption of this failed Akali-BJP government.

Given the heightened state of political affairs in the state Jassi is confident of a record attendance at the Congress conference at this year's Chapaar Mela.

All are invited.
