Patiala : The Patiala police has registered a case of attempt to murder against 12 persons for allegedly barging into the house of an ASI and firing a shot that hit the ASI’s son in the thigh.
The police said the accused entered into the house of the ASI in Ghumman Nagar and threatened him of dire consequences if he continued his involvement in a disputed property nearby. ASI’s son Sukhwinder said: “The accused slapped my mother and shot at me before fleeing. The bullet hit me in the thigh following which I was rushed to the hospital”.
