Bhattal bereaved, mother-in-law passes away

CHANDIGARH: Harcharan Kaur, mother-in-law of former Punjab Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal passed away.

She died at the age of 96.

Partap Singh Bajwa President Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee today expressed deep grief over the demise of Mrs. Harcharan Kaur.

Bajwa said that it was a personal loss of Mrs. Bhattal and the entire Congress party joins her in an hour of grief. He prayed for peace to the department soul. He shared his condolence with Mrs. Bhattal and other family members.

He also condoled sad demise of Uttamjit Kaur, wife of former MP Tarlochan Singh.
