Abohar : Demanding resignation of Union Minister Giriraj Singh for his ‘racist’ barb against AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Congress workers staged a protest here today.

District vice-president of the party Vimal Thatai accompanied by party councillors Narinder Verma and Raja Ram, former councillors Ram Avtar, Des Raj Singla and Madan Lal Doda and many other activists marched to the Sadar Bazaar chowk. Giriraj had not only insulted the president of the Congress, but women too, Thatai said.
