Patiala : The Punjab State Electricity Board Engineers’ Association, in a written communication to Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal, has demanded an inquiry against the management of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). Engineers alleged that private firms had been given financial benefits at the cost of consumers as the Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (RAPDRP) works have been awarded on higher rates.
The association alleged that the PSPCL suffered a loss of Rs 437 crore in awarding RAPDRP works.
