GURDASPUR: The two men accused of attacking local Congress leader Raman Bahl have been arrested.

SSP Gurpreet Singh Toor told HT on Wednesday that a local court had sent Sukhdev Singh and Bikramjit Singh of Goht Khurd to two-day police custody.

Meanwhile, political leaders have condemned the attack on Bahl by the alleged land mafia for supporting the protest by those whose plots had been grabbed. Leaders of the local units of the BJP, BSP, PPP, AAP, CPM Punjab, CPI (M), CPI and CPI (ML) Liberation condemned the attack. Barring the SAD, the rest plan a rally.
