Hoshiarpur : The court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Sumuki on Monday issued bailable warrant against Charanjit Singh Brar, the office secretary of SAD, for April 2.
The warrant was issued in a criminal complaint case filed by socialist leader Balwant Khera against SAD president Sukhbir Badal and others.
In his complaint filed in 2009, Khera accused Sukhbir Badal of forgery and fraud. He presented two different constitutions for Gurdwara Commission and Election Commission.
During the last hearing of the case on January 12, the court summoned SAD office secretary Charanjit Brar. He was asked to bring the party constitution. Brar refused to accept the summons. Thereafter, the court issued bailable warrant against him.
Khera’s counsel Shakti Singh said SAD secretary general Daljit Singh Cheema was summoned by the court earlier.
