SAD leader’s bus claims another life

Ferozepur : In yet another mishap, a bus belonging to New Deep Transport Company, which is owned by SAD leader from Gidderbaha Hardeep Singh Dhillon, claimed life of Satnam Singh (40) of Chakk Rode Wala village in Lakho Ke Behram block of the district today.
The incident took place when the bus was on the way to Muktsar from Ferozepur. It allegedly hit the victim, who was going back to his village on a motorcycle. He died on the spot. The bus driver fled the spot.
The police have booked the driver under Sections 304 and 279 of IPC in the case at the Cantonment police station . Dhillon was not available for comment.
Earlier in December 2015, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly crushed to death by a bus belonging to this company on the Amritsar-Zira Highway near Makhu in the district while she was standing along the roadside.
