LUDHIANA: Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing president Harjot Singh Bains has asserted that the programme of AAP to gherao chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s Chandigarh residence on of May 16 will be historic. He said volunteers of the youth wing of the party would participate in large numbers in the protest march.
Addressing a meeting of youth wing at the zonal office on Sunday, Bains asked the youth wing volunteers to make all out efforts to mobilise a maximum number of people for the gherao. He also assigned the duties to the different office bearers and volunteers of Youth Wing to make the gherao a success.
Slamming SAD-BJP government for allegedly ruining the farming sector in Punjab, he said the debt-ridden farmers have been forced to commit suicide.
He added that during this procurement season the farmers were compelled to make a frequent round of Ahrtyias shops for payments of sold crop.
Zone youth wing president Aman Mohi, state joint secretaries Paramveer Singh and Sandeep Mishra, sector incharge Tashit Gupta, Shalinder Barewal among others attended the meeting.
