Unemployed teachers climb atop water tank

BADAL (MUKTSAR): Three activists of elementary teacher training (ETT) and teachers’ eligibility test (TET) pass (TET) pass unemployed teachers’ union climbed atop a water works tank in Badal village in Muktsar district on Monday afternoon. About 12 of the workers of union attempted to climb atop the water to raise their demands but police intervened, though three succeeded in climbing atop water tank. State president of the union, Amarjeet Kamboj said, “We are demanding to fill up 8,500 posts of our cadres which are lying vacant and seeking a panel meeting with the chief minister but administration has not been paying any heed towards our demands, so we decided to climb atop water tank in native village of chief minister.
