Faridkot: The police have registered a case against Swaran Singh, an AAP leader and a close associate of party’s Faridkot candidate. In a complaint to Faridkot, a resident of Gurgaon alleged that Swaran Singh had received Rs 3 lakh from him as bribe for the police to give a clean chit to her brother and sister-in-law in a narcotics smuggling case. The complainant, Rajni Gill, alleged that Swaran had approached her saying he could get a clean chit for her brother and his wife. In the complainant to the SSP of Faridkot, Rajni alleged that Swaran flaunted her connections in the police and demanded Rs 5 lakh as bribe for the police.
