into the party by the PPCC president.

Talking to reporters, Khalsa and Goldy said, “The Akali Dal had lost its direction and credibility. Most of the Akali leaders and workers who had generational association with the party were feeling alienated and disillusioned over the treatment meted out to them by the party, which is being held captive by a select few”.

Dhanaula said that he had left the BSP to join the Congress as he got to know that the BSP was hand-in-glove with the Akali Dal. He said that the BSP was only exploiting the sentiments of the Dalits and the downtrodden while having reached a secret understanding with the Akalis and the BJP.
