CHANDIGARH: After continuously and consistently taking on the opposition at the centre using his sharp wit and sarcasm through the micro-blogging site Twitter, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari on Tuesday took a dig at the recently announced industrial policy by the Punjab government remarking that it “sums up 6 yrs’ (years) misrule”.

In an early morning Tweet on Tuesday Tewari, while referring to the industrial policy announced by the Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal in his characteristic style at Chandigarh on Monday, remarked, “Punjab govt's industrial policy- Kamayo Te Khayo (loot and rob) underscores their political philosophy Kutto te Lutto (assault & extort) sums up 6 years (of) misrule”.

Tewari, who belongs to the state and represents Ludhiana parliamentary constituency, has been sharply critical of the opposition National Democratic Alliance. He had so far, however, mainly targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party alone. However, this time he targeted the Akali government in his home state, which nevertheless is part of the NDA.

On Sunday Tewari created a satirical storm with his, now famous Tweet, civil war in Sangh Parivar, “BJP story by Advani Ji”, in which he had a dig at the Prime Ministerial race within the BJP saying, “BJP story by Advani ji. Chauhan ji verus Modi versus Rajnath ji versus Sushma ji versus Jaitley ji versus Gadkari ji. RSS versus BJP ji-Civil War in Pariwar ji".
