Bajwa expresses grief over demise of Veteran Congress leader VC Shukla

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bakwa has expressed grief over the sad demise of veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Mr V.C.Shukla in a private hospital in Gurgaon today.

Bajwa said that in a long span of political career, Shukla had played important role in nation building and he had held many portfolios. He was known for his honesty and integrity. He described him as an able parliamentarian and a statesman who would be long remembered for his qualities of head and heart.

Bajwa conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
