Chandigarh : Chief Minister Amarinder Singh took to Twitter on Tuesday to respond scathingly to his rival Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Badal’s criticism of being “indifferent to the problems of the masses”.

He was responding to Badal’s comments reported in the Tribune.

In a scathing reply as election heat intensifies, the chief minister said in a tweet: “The only thing I am indifferent to is your opinion, @officeofssbadal. You have the gall to comment on my govt’s performance after ruining Punjab for a decade! If you think such baseless comments will help you in #LokSabhaElections2019 you’d better think again”.

In his second tweet, he said: “I do not need to spend all my time going around the state to identify the problems you have created @officeofssbadal. Every citizen of Punjab, except you, knows what the problems are and I do not need photo ops to show what I’m doing to resolve them”.

Badal recently said to the Tribune: ““I have been holding rallies all across Punjab. But he is not bothered at all. He will be seen only in the last four-five days. He is completely indifferent to the problems of the masses. Now the union leaders have even stopped climbing water tanks as they know that there is no one like us in the government who will bring them down”. He also accused the Congress of admitting gangsters into the party.
