Preneet Kaur organises personal contact meet at New Moti Bagh Palace

Patiala : Congress candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha seat Preneet Kaur on Wednesday organised an open meeting at New Moti Bagh Palace to meet party workers and voters and it evoked a positive response as the people accompanied by their leaders attended the meeting.
It may be mentioned here that since last few days candidates of Shiromani Akali Dal and Nawan Punjab Party were involved in spread propaganda that the New Moti Bagh Palace was not allowing entry to anybody and people were also afraid of seeking entry into the palace as well.
Keeping in view such propaganda, the managers at the Palace decided to go for organising a meeting in which Preneet Kaur would meet the people especially voters inside the palace and have a personal interaction with them and so Wednesday’s meeting was fixed and gates of the Palace were opened up for the public. As per the scheduled programme, even the managers used one video of Preneet Kaur to call the people and it went viral on social media. While meeting the public, Preneet Kaur was witnessed calling some of the visitors by their names and asking about their families’ well-being as well.
Meanwhile, after the meeting, Preneet Kaur straight way went to attend a meeting organised by National Students Union of India (NSUI), a students’ wing of the Congress at Amar Ashram here.
Despite the intense heat, organisers brought youngsters from colleges but the sweltering heat proved to be a spoilsport as youngsters started vacating their chairs, and stood up to brave the heat.
Addressing the youngsters, Preneet Kaur urged them to utilise their voting rights to strengthen hard-won democracy. She said that the younger generation actually knows how to build a new India and so they should work whole-heartedly in this direction. She added that youngsters can play a major role in nation building do they must come forward to contribute accordingly.
