Fatehgarh Sahib : Actions of a person should speak louder than his words. A person who indulges in mudslinging and uses words to run down others is not appreciated by people. A person who speaks less but let his work speak for himself earns greater respect and regard among the people, said O P Soni, Minister for Education, while answering questions from media persons if Sidhu couple’s outburst against CM had harmed party’s electoral prospects in State. Though Soni refrained from launching a direct attack on Sidhu, he endorsed the views of Chief Minister that Sidhu’s comments did more harm than good to the party.

They should have been avoided. OP Soni had come here on Friday to inaugurate the Government Elementary School Ajnali, which has been converted into smart school by the efforts of village Youth Club, whose members collected donations from people and converted the school into smart school.

He told media persons that State Govt. is committed to raise the education standard of government schools, so that students from private schools should come to government schools. Appreciating the teaching community for excellent results of government schools and merits achieved by their students, he said that State jumped to second position in the country in the field of education due to excellent results.
