Ludhiana : Finally, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has cleared the name of two Congress leaders from Ludhiana for the posts of chairmen of different corporations. Former district Congress president and councilor Gurpreet Gogi is set to become chairman of Punjab State Industrial Export Corporation (PSIEC). The name of senior Congress leader Krishan Kumar Bawa was also cleared for the post of Chairman of Punjab Industrial Development Corporation. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has cleared the name of two Congress leaders from Ludhiana and the formal announcement would be made in coming days. Gurpreet Gogi and KK Bawa thanked the Chief Minister for giving them prime posts. Former president of Ludhiana Congress Gurpreet Gogi was contender for the post of Mayor, but his name was dropped. Now, Gogi has been appointed as the Chairman of Industrial Export Corporation. KK Bawa was also contender for the MLA ticket from Atam Nagar constituency, but he was denied a ticket. During the elections, he was promised for the post of chairman and finally, after two years of formation of Congress government, the name of KK Bawa was cleared for the prestigious post. Earlier, KK Bawa was the chairman of Housefed in previous Congress government.
