Chandigarh : The Punjab Jat Mahasabha will soon file a revision petition in the Supreme Court, which on Tuesday set aside the notification including Jats in the Central list of Other Backward Classes (OBC) for according reservation benefits to them.
Punjab Jat Mahasabha president Kushaldeep Dhillon said, “We will soon file the revision petition in the Supreme Court. We will explore more legal options to defend the case again in the Apex court.”
In a statement, he lambasted the NDA government “for deliberately weakening the case in the court”.
He said that the Jat Mahasabha will fight tooth and nail for the rights of the Jats.
