Chandigarh : Chief Minister Captain Amarinder on Tuesday directed the State Advocate General to oppose the CBI closure report in the Bargari case in the CBI court, saying the agency had no jurisdiction to file the report in the light of the January 2019 observations of the Punjab & Haryana High Court.

Chandigarh : The Sports Minister, Punjab, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi here today inaugurated a state of the art Hostel Complex adjacent to the Punjab Institute of Sports (PIS). On the eve of the inauguration, the minister said that this hostel complex housing Block A and Block B (One each for Boys and Girls) has come up at a cost of Rs. 8.27 crore in 1.50 crore and is equipped with 88 well furnished rooms.
