Ahuja previously worked as the Head of NRI Business in Europe for Barclays, London, where he established the bank as the first in the UK to offer NRI products ‘off the shelf’ across 125 branches.
Prior to this, Ahuja worked for Citibank in London and American Express in Mumbai.

Ahuja has an MBA from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, recognised as one of the top business schools in India.
State Bank of India currently has eight branches across the UK - The City, East Ham and Golders Green in London, Birmingham, Harrow, Leicester, Manchester and Southall – with current plans to open two more, in Wolverhampton and Coventry.
