CHANDIGARH: A 105.5 km per hour storm which hit large parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on Sunday night left at least three persons dead and 58 injured in the Tricity comprising Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.

JALANDHAR: Border Security Force seized 211. 311 kg. heroin till now during this year. The contraband seized include 17 kg heroin seized from the Ferozepur sector in the wee hours today, said DIG RPS Jaswal in a press release issued from the Punjab Frontiers HQ of the BSF here. The price of the heroin seized during this year is said to be more than Rs. 1055 crore in the international market.
